2010 Greetings from the Northeastern District AW Ministries Director!

As I envision sitting at Jesus feet learning from His teachings, that is exactly what we are doing when we dive into His Word, talk to Him daily, and listen to His still small voice as He speaks His will for our lives. Are we listening, do we hear how He wants to use us in ministry? Perhaps it is outside our comfort zone, but He is right there beside us; or outside the box of the norm, that is okay; making godly and healthy changes in becoming a vital and exciting women’s ministry – all these are good and pleasing to Him if we do it to bring His name glory and honor.

We have begun making changes in women’s ministries in the NE District and we hope many of you are on-board, but we have much more to do. I covet your prayers for our entire NE District Leadership Team as we continue to tweak our regions to be more efficient for our regional coaches and churches. I have heard exciting things happening in some of our regions and churches in women’s ministries. That is great to hear!

I look forward to working with you in 2010 as we continue to promote missions, study God’s Word through discipleship, reaching out to others for Jesus, praying diligently for one another and our international workers all over the world, and having fellowship together. All these are part of our five objectives and are important in making a strong women’s ministry.

I hope we all are as excited as a new babe in Christ to say – Before I clearly knew who Jesus was, I knew there were people willing to go anywhere and do anything to tell people about Him. Jesus must be something, I mused. And He was. by Beth Moore, “Voices of the Faithful”, Integrity Publishers, Brentwood, TN.

Serving Together,
Daisy
